I grew up in a small town called Carrollton. Located on the eastern edge of Ohio, it is virtually in the middle of nowhere. After graduating high school, I joined the Air Force. I went to Colorado for my first tech school. I trained as an Attack Control Systems Specialist, Avionics Electronics. I spent 9 months in Colorado where I learned to ski and rollerblade. Then on to New Mexico, I lived there for just short of 3 years. What can you say about New Mexico? There is a lot of history there, and some nice places to see, just nothing within 100 miles of where I was stationed! (not completely true, but it felt that way.) I left the Air Force in 1996 and moved back to Ohio to go to school at DeVry (in Columbus, Ohio). I graduated from DeVry in February 2000 with a Bachelors of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology. During that time I worked for Calvin Access Controls, my brothers company. We did automated gate and access control systems installations and repairs. In 2002 I changed jobs in the Ohio Air National guard and worked as a Network Technician at Rickenbacker ANGB in Columbus, OH. In 2007 I started a new job doing networking, then last year I changed again to do application support. |
